BUTTERNUT FABRICS SAYS
This luxury woollen furnishing fabric has been created at Abraham Moon’s vertical mill in Guiseley, West Yorkshire. From there they control all the processes; dyeing and blending the raw wool fibres, spinning the melange yarns, warping, weaving, and then finishing the fabrics.
Founded in 1837 and with roots in apparel, they are one of the last remaining vertical woollen mills in Great Britain, with a reputation for consistent quality and innovative design. All these stunning fabrics are available by the metre. Suitable for interior applications such as sofas, cushions, curtains and chairs.
MODERN FABRICS SAYS
Very unusual and one of a kind find. It's a bit quirky design wise with all the dots, but you can’t deny the quality of the wool. It truly feels like something the British Royals would have in their fancy hunting lodge. It’s not specified as reversible, but I think it easily could be used on the other side, giving you a plaid look. This is a 100% wool, not too rough or itchy, but not a cashmere ether. The more time I spend with this fabric, the more I like it. I think it’s perfect for upholstery, pillows and bedding, but if you are a creative type, make some holiday throws or ponchos or scarfs for a gift. This fabric doesn’t fray.
